Become an Art, Music, Home Economics or Mother Tongue Language Teacher.If you love teaching and interacting with students, you should consider signing up for the 'O' Level Teacher Training Schemes, where you can pursue a Diploma course and be trained as a teacher. After all, there are few jobs that can fulfil your aspirations to teach what you love.
The Ministry of Education (MOE), together with the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), National Institute of Education (NIE), Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Temasek Polytechnic, would like to invite graduating 'O' Level students to apply to be an Art, Music, Home Economics or Mother Tongue Language Teacher.
Successful candidates will pursue a Diploma course and be trained as a teacher. Course fees throughout the 4 years of training will be fully borne by MOE. Candidates will also receive scholarship in the form of a bursary and salary while undergoing training, after which you will be deployed to teach in our schools to serve a 5-year training bond.
